A Time to Reflect
Late December is a good time to honour the past year with all its struggles and accomplishments.
This past year I have spent most of my time creating and building BeNaturally.Fit, and the process has pushed me to get crystal clear on my philosophy and what I stand behind.
I love that I have been able to combine my two passions—dance and fitness—into the design of workouts that keep exercising fresh and give me and my clients great results.
I feel empowered by my decision to eat a (mostly) plant-based diet because it suits both my body and my mind.
I have come to understand how much making positive thinking a daily practice has improved my life.
I am more confident with my appearance than I was when I was in my 20s and my energy levels have never been higher.
I have gained more understanding of and compassion for my limitations and my weaknesses. It’s not ALL smooth sailing, but it’s getting better.
Making Mistakes, Moving Forward, Taking Risks
One reason to reflect on the past year, apart from feeling grateful for what we have accomplished, is to appreciate that some of our best learning opportunities come when we make mistakes. If we accept and learn from our mistakes, we will feel more resilient and we will be able to take more risks as we move forward to reach our goals.
I can’t wait for what the New Year brings.
xoxo
